The Bamboo Horse Pianist is a drama, comedy, and romance film. Yang Chumo (played by Jin Wenxin) is an innocent and cheerful girl who was fortunate enough to be admitted to the Star Conservatory of Music, the most famous local art university. In school, Yang Chumo accidentally meets a boy named Mu Liunian (played by Fang Yilun). Mu Liunian has become a famous figure in the school with his superb piano skills. What Yang Chumo didn't expect was that the aloof Mu Liunian turned out to be the brother next door that he had liked when he was a child. Yang Chumo wanted to use a piano piece to evoke Mu Liunian's memories of him, but he didn't know that his poor performance made him Mu Liunian stayed away from her.
