剧情梗概：新最佳拍档是一部喜剧,动作,犯罪片，金刚（许冠杰 饰）与光头佬（麦嘉 饰）在一次泰国的任务中不欢而散，自此分道扬镳各奔前程……时间一晃三年，国宝兵马俑与秦皇宝剑在赴港展出的路上被白手套一伙施调包计窃走，自称“新最佳拍档”的飞贼姐弟（利智&张国荣 饰）再由白手套手中夺走宝剑，并高调登报嫁祸于最佳拍档。一时间，大陆方面派出的中国蓝波（李元霸 饰）与白手套等人均认为退出江湖的最佳拍档是夺剑人，对金刚和光头佬展开连番追捕。最终两个老搭档终于澄清误会，联合飞贼姐弟接受大陆方面的艰苦训练，以期能够为保护国宝而战……                                                                    　　本片是《最佳拍档》系列电影的第五集。King Kong (Samuel Hui) and Albert "Baldy" Au (Karl Maka) were framed for robbery by brother and sister thieves (Leslie Cheung and Nina Li Chi), taking possession of a magnificent sword from antiquities smugglers. The smugglers attempt to hunt down Kong and Baldy, just as they were being pursued by the Hong Kong Police for their supposed "crime." The New Best Partner is a comedy, action, and crime film. King Kong (played by Xu Guanjie) and a bald guy (played by Majia) broke up on a mission in Thailand, and they parted ways since then... Three years have passed. The national treasures Terracotta Warriors and Horses and the Qin Emperor's Sword were stolen by a group of White Gloves on their way to Hong Kong for exhibition. The Snitch siblings (played by Li Zhi & Leslie Cheung) who claimed to be the "new best partners" were again snatched away by White Gloves. Sword, and put the blame on his best partner in a high-profile newspaper. For a time, China's Lan Bo (played by Li Yuanba), White Gloves and others sent by the mainland believed that the best partner to withdraw from the arena was the sword-snatcher, and launched a series of hunts for King Kong and the bald man. In the end, the two old partners finally clarified their misunderstanding, and joined forces with the Snitch siblings to receive arduous training from the mainland, hoping to fight to protect the national treasure... This film is the fifth episode of the "Best Partner" series of movies. A film that does well at the box office is not necessarily a classic. New best partner. Best partner 5.
