电影《L’escale》的剧情简介：

In 2019, filmmakers Paul Shemisi and Nizar Saleh traveled from Kinshasa to Frankfurt for the screening of their new film. During a layover in Angola, they were stopped at the airport because the airline did not trust their documents. While Paul and Nizar thought they would be led to a hotel, where they would stay until their return flight, they suddenly found themselves in a detention center for illegal immigrants. While the film shows breathtaking views from an airplane window, the testimonies offer an insight into the impossibility for Congolese artists to travel carefree and safely.
