剧情梗概：
《EU超时任务》是香港电视广播有限公司拍摄制作的警匪时装剧，由朱千雪、袁伟豪、王浩信领衔主演。如果有机会重返大灾难的一日，相信大家也会争取机会拨乱反正，避免惨剧发生。可是世界上存在着「蝴蝶效应」，当一件事被更改后，相关的事件也有相应的调节。正所谓「一石击起千重浪」，即使改变了前因，人又能否掌握后果？纵使有无限次的机会重返三日前，最终会否事与愿违？回到三日前企图拯救父亲新界北冲锋队新扎警长凌晨风(朱千雪饰)在某围村巡逻时遇上数名可疑分子，对他们展开追捕，却遇上了围村村长关鼎名(王浩信饰)的阻挠，让事件越闹越大，触发起枪战。晨风父亲凌海(罗乐林饰)竟出现在枪战现场，还因中流弹而死亡，晨风将责任归咎于自己！晨风在伤痛中遇上一个宇宙异象，让她能回到三日前，有机会将父亲拯救过来！晨风以为自己对一切已全知晓，改变事情易如反掌。事实上，这三天却令她看到事情背后另有真相，亦因为蝴蝶效应，令事情不如首次般进行，凌海仍然难逃死亡命运。二度回到过去被迫拯救仇人汲取教训的晨风，再度返回过去，小心行事，最终成功拯救了父亲。与此同时，晨风发现围村内有黑警对村民不利，还知悉ICAC有一线人潜伏，调查犯罪集团与黑警勾结的罪行，让正义禀然的她再次折返三日前。晨风再次遇上了鼎名这个「杀父仇人」，也认识到他性格的另一面。眼见鼎名面临生死危机，身为警察的晨风出尽全力拯救。过程中，鼎名与晨风被逼合作揪出村内的黑警。二人性格及行事作风迥异，相处期间产生不少矛盾与冲突。不断穿梭过去看清战友好友晨风多次穿梭来往三日前后，对身边的人恍似多了认识。经常与晨风不咬弦的冲锋队车长陈劲威(单立文饰)，被晨风意外发现他鲜为人知的一面，二人惺惺相惜，亦师亦友。仇人可以变成朋友，男友及闺密亦有可能反目成仇！男友兼战友郭尚正(袁伟豪饰)，发觉晨风与鼎名走得越来越近，拟似擦出了爱火花，令尚正与晨风的感情起了波澜。再加上晨风回到过去时，查出了一个令尚正晴天霹雳的秘密，尚正几近崩溃，做事态度一百八十度大幅转变，令晨风也受到重大打击。享负盛名的新界土豪乡绅贺展祥(林伟饰)，表面上是一名知识分子及慈善商人，深深吸引了晨风的记者好友李姿婷(谭凯琪饰)。晨风查出展祥牵涉非法勾当，同时得知姿婷曾与尚正有过一夜情，眼看这位「好友」主动接近展祥，堕入风眼，还有可能出卖了另一闺密好友贺小美(刘佩玥饰)。一连串的怀疑，令晨风陷入痛苦挣扎中穿梭过去能力带来痛苦压力晨风拥有返回过去的超能力，让她可以将走近了死亡边缘的父亲拉回来，不过亦同时令她看到身边人背后的一段段故事，以及发生在他们身上的种种不幸遭遇；还有更重要的，是要阻止鼎名为上位而胡作非为，这一切令晨风体会到能力愈大责任愈大之苦。晨风萌生放弃回到过去机遇的念头，但又想为眼前的挚爱伸出援手，晨风如何面对这个痛苦的抉择？
