Invitation is an action film directed by Sun Zhong and written by Ni Kuang. It is adapted from Qin Hong's original novel. The story describes that the young knight Xin Suan (Wang Yu) learned that the prince planned to entrust four killers to escort the mysterious box to Xi'an, and would pay one hundred thousand taels of silver as a reward. Xin then killed four people and went to see the prince with their heads. He asked to take over the bodyguard job, and Gaixin wanted to receive the huge reward for disaster relief, and the prince agreed. On the way, he encounters masters such as Yang Feng (Luo Lie), the invisible swordsman, Gu Feitian (Chen Guantai), and the beautiful heroine Narcissus (Lin Xiujun).
